Program Overview
The Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics Department of the School of Science and Engineering at Oral Roberts University (ORU) offers Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degrees with a computer, electrical or mechanical emphasis, and Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in biomedical engineering, engineering physics and environmental engineering. All classes in the department are taught by professors with advanced degrees who are committed Christians and dedicated to teaching at the undergraduate level. Class sizes are small and the students have great opportunities for close interaction with the faculty. 


Highlights

All programs include a broad liberal arts foundation and senior design/research project
Students participate in an engineering seminar each semester, providing them with the opportunity to meet faculty and learn about the latest engineering developments

ORU students have access to computing facilities in four teaching areas that can be used as classrooms or walk-in labs. Residence halls contain 14 student computer labs and all residence rooms are wired for computer access. Computer labs are equipped with networked IBM-compatible PCs and afford students access to the Internet and email, as well as a variety of software applications.
